MUMBAI: AR Rahman has once again scored a track for Danny Boyle to be played at the inaugural ceremony of London Olympics 2012.
Boyle is doing a three hour show ‘Isles of Wonder’ for the opening ceremony of the Olympics on 27 July. Interestingly, a song 'Naandhaan Ungappanda’ composed by Ilayaraja for the 1981 movie Ram Laxman will also be played at the ceremony.
Earlier, Rahman has worked with Boyle in Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours.
Rahman has lately composed music for an American movie titled ‘People Like Us’. He teamed up with Indie rock artist Liz Phair for composing a score ‘Dotted Line’ in the film. The song is rendered by Phair. The original motion picture soundtrack was released recently under the label Lakeshore Records.
