Apache Indian previews new album on Radio City

MUMBAI: Reggae artist Apache Indian gave listeners of Radio City and PlanetRadiocity.com a preview of some of the songs from his forthcoming album, Music Is Freedom. The popular reggae-pop-rap-bhangra artiste, who completed a 27-cpountry tour last year, performed for PlanetRadiocity web radio listeners and listeners of Radio City's evening show, Taka Tak Mumbai.

Apache Indian is touring India with his band, The Reggae Revolution, for the first time, and is scheduled to cover Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune in his tour which began on 25 February 2011 in Mumbai 

He is also venturing into the Indian market with his own brand of bars, Apache's Bar 

 I am really glad that Radio City and PlanetRadiocity.com have given me this opportunity to talk about my album and other initiatives in India,... Apache Indian said. India has evolved a lot over the years,  and the music scene has been changing, with the audience opening up to different genres like reggae, hip-hop, rock and more. In the last five-six years, Bollywood Music has become extremely popular worldwide; Indian music is growing at a really fast pace!...

He also spoke of his foray in Bollywood, which will see him feature in the musical score of music director and singer Bappi Lahiri's soon-to-be-released movie Love Story. I am very excited about my Bollywood debut in Bappi Lahiri's Love Story,... Apache Indian said, adding, Although I definitely need to take up some Hindi-speaking and acting lessons!...
