MUMBAI: Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar is all set to make his first appearance at 65th Cannes Film Festival scheduled to be held from 16 -27 May.

The talented singer was recently honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Speaking about his Cannes debut Zafar said, “Yes, I’m planning to attend the film festival and trying to work out my schedules accordingly. Nothing has been finalised yet, but I am hopeful things will work out fine. To find this kind of an acceptance as a Bollywood actor is a huge honour for me. I’m thrilled.”

The singer made his Bollywood acting and singing debut with 'Tere Bin Laden' and his other hits include Luv Ka the End, Mere Brother ki Dulhan and London Paris New York. The actor is working on his forthcoming movie 'Chashme Buddoor'.
