Ajay-Atul's concert to be aired on Radio One

MUMBAI: Radio One will air composer duo Ajay-Atul's concert to spread awareness about water conservation on 15 May, 2010. The campaign addressing the water woes is called �Save Water, Save Mumbai' campaign.

Listeners can also win passes for the show by participating in the on-air contest 

Apart from Ajay- Atul few other eminent singers from Hindi & Marathi music industry will also croon for the concert. Shankar Mahadevan, Sonali Kulkarni, Hariharan, Kunal Ganjawala, Vaishali Samant, Swapnil Bandodkar, Yogita Godbole and Amruta Natu, are the other musicians who will also be speaking to the station during the event.

Radio One station head Bavesh Janavlekar said, We are absolutely thrilled to partner with the musical genius of Ajay and Atul Gogavale to support water conservation, which has become a pressing concern in our great city. As part of our commitment to bringing listeners new and diverse musical experiences, we are the only radio station going behind-the-scenes at this unique event....

Nitesh Rane who heads the NGO, Swabhimaan Sanghatana, and is also organising this concert believes, that this concert will highlight the cause of water conservation and create an increased awareness among Mumbaikars to save water, which is becoming an issue of concern.
