Aircheck India adds Coimbatore to radio monitoring services

MUMBAI: RCS India has added a new market, Coimbatore, to AirCheck India, its radio monitoring service. This increases the tally to 15 markets and 80 FM radio stations that are being monitored for songs and commercials.

Coimbatore is the second market in Tamil Nadu to be monitored, after Chennai. Radio Mirchi, Hello FM, Radio City and SFM are the stations on air in Coimbatore.

Says Hello FM president Rajeev Nambiar, AirCheck services do help in understanding competitive practices and in managing markets effectively. We are happy that AirCheck analysis is now available in Coimbatore, which is our P2 market and burgeoning month to month. Thanks to AirCheck, remote control management would be now basis facts resulting in added impetus....

According to RCS manager sales, Kanan Bhuta, "We saw a lot of interest for radio monitoring in Coimbatore as it is an important market in this state." RCS India will now look to the northern states to add more markets to their service, says the company.

AirCheck data is also available for Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Nagpur, Kanpur, Indore and Lucknow.
