NEW DELHI: Doordarshan and All India Radio will broadcast the farewell address by outgoing president Pratibha Devisingh Patil to the nation on their national networks tomorrow evening.

The telecast will be on the national network on DD 1 at 7 pm and will be picked up by regional kendras of AIR from 9.30 PM onwards. The address will be aired first in Hindi, followed by English.

A profile of the president-elect, Pranab Mukherjee, will be telecast from 8.30 pm.

‘The Forgotten Army’, a programme on the late Lakshmi Sehgal who passed away this morning, will be telecast at 11 am. Sehgal had been the head of the women’s wing of the Indian National Army founded by Subhash Chandra Bose.
