Adele, Swift, Bon Jovi nominated for Golden Globe Awards

MUMBAI:  British singer and Grammy award winner Adele and American pop-country singer Taylor Swift are competing for Golden Globe best original song while their album have also become the first and the second top-selling albums in iTunes US for 2012.

The nominees for the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced on Thursday by Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms.

Adele has made her way to Golden Globe award for ‘Skyfall’ and Swift has been nominated for ‘Safe & Sound’. Adele’s Bond theme, “Skyfall,” is sweeping and dramatic and pays homage to the original Bond theme. "Safe & Sound” has been performed by Taylor Swift featuring The Civil Wars in “The Hunger Games".

Bon Jovi has cannot be missed out for his performance of “Not Running Anymore" in "Stand up Guys”. Bon Jovi is the only one here who has taken home a Golden Globe for best original song, in 1990.

Other nominations include Keith Urban’s "For You” and “Suddenly" - "Les Miserables" performed by Hugh Jackman

The 70th Annual Golden Globes will air live on Sunday, 13 January at 5 PM Pacific Standard Time on NBC with hosts Amy Poehler & Tina Fey.
