Aasma's Vasuda chosen to represent India at Popkomm '10
MUMBAI: After weeks of stiff competition, Channel [V]'s Aasma fame, Vasuda Sharma was chosen as the winner of a contest organized by Music2Deal.com in association with the Popkomm Music festival 2010, an integral part of the Berlin music week.
Vasuda was picked from more than 400 entries from across India. Finalists for this contest along with Vasuda were Demonic Resurrection, Junkyard Groove, Rishi Dhir, Taksha and Shkabang
Music2Deal.com's Play@Popkomm was judged by Peers Music communication director and international A&R Hans Cuny, Azul Music founder/composer/keyboardist Corciolli, Linda Sundblat the lead singer of Lambretta, Internationally renowned A&R professional and consultant with Warner/Chapell, BBC, IMN, Richard Rogers and Pama Music Group founder and president Maxe Alexxon.
