AArish Purkh's musical debut with Ishqeria

MUMBAI: AArish Purkh is making his musical debut with Prerna Wadhawan’s Ishqeria for a track that is composed by Rashid Khan. Purkh has no musical experience and is a business man by profession.

Purkh believes in creating a unique style thus writes first and second letter of his first name (AArish) in letters. “I am a business man by profession and usually travel from Punjab to Delhi for work. This is how I met Rashidji (Khan) and now I am singing for his composition. He gave me a tone and told me to sing accordingly and I did which worked well,” Purkh told Radioandmusic.com.

He further added, “I never learnt music but it is natural. My friends and family now know that I have rendered for the film but they have never heard me sing or consider singing as a serious option. After this, I have considered this as an option.”

When asked to speak about his encounter with composer Khan, Purkh said that he will reveal it once the music is out and that he would not tell everything now. He has his fingers crossed as he hopes to get a plethora of offers post this.

Ishqeria stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Richa Chadha and is under filming. The debutant director Wadhawan is directing a romantic drama about a small-town girl and a city guy.
