MUMBAI: A P Parigi, formerly MD of Entertainment Network (India) Limited which established Radio Mirchi, India's largest private FM radio network, has joined Accel Transmatic Ltd as a Senior Advisor and Consultant to guide its media initiatives. He will advise them on all media, animation, VFX and gaming related matters. Parigi will also be Chairman of Accel Media Ventures Limited (a group company) and Corporate Advisor to the Accel Group.

Parigi has 35 years of experience spanning several sectors including telecommunications and Media & Entertainment. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Of India Group). He also serves on the Boards of Times Group companies including Times Global Broadcasting Company Limited (Times Now), Worldwide Media (a joint venture with the BBC), and TIML Global Limited, UK. In June 2010,

Parigi joined the Business Advisory Council of the Said Business School (Oxford University), UK. He is also on the advisory board of the Fordham Graduate School of Business, Fordham University, New York.

Earlier, he held a number of key positions including CEO of BPL Mobile Communications (a joint venture with France Telecom), Mumbai. He is credited with developing and establishing Radio Mirchi, India's largest private FM radio network. After his tenure as Managing Director of Entertainment Network (India) Limited (Radio Mirchi), Parigi also served as Managing Director & Group CEO of Eros International Limited, India. In April 2009, Parigi was a recipient of the Rensselaer Entrepreneur of the Year Award conferred by the Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship, which belongs to the Lally School of Management & Technology, New York.
