MUMBAI: 92.7 BIG FM announced its final winner of the �Constitution of music' on 27th January 2011 at studios. Kids across 45 cities from India participated in enormous numbers to sing the unplugged version of our national song �Vande Mataram'. 3 lucky contestants across each city got the opportunity to sing at the studios of 92.7 BIG FM on the 26th of January. The final selected 19 children across the nation were called to Mumbai to be a part of �Constitution of music.'

The activity was conducted across the nation for the duration of two weeks. The winner was announced by multifaceted artist and young entrepreneur Raghav Sachar who has given music for films like Kabul Express, 1 2 3 , Sunday, Daddy cool and many more. He has also recently done the latest version of Vande Mataram.

Speaking on the same, Raghav Sachar (Music director) says, It's a great initiative by 92.7 BIG FM on the occasion of Republic day. It was heart warming to see the number of children that participated in the contest. As the future of the country depends upon today's kids, I can't think of a better way than music which will empower these kids to recreate history.

Commenting on the occasion, Lisa Pereira, (St. Joseph's Convent High School, Bandra ) said, It feels great to be a part of Constitution of music. I am grateful to my family & teachers for giving me all the guidance & knowledge about India. I would also like to thank 92.7 BIG FM for giving me such a big opportunity.

Speaking on the initiative, Soumen Choudhury – Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM says, It was a 92.7 BIG FM's initiative to salute the 62nd year of Indian constitution. The objective of this activity was to spread awareness amongst the youth who are our republic of tomorrow, about �Vande Mataram' and its significance to Indian heritage. The participation of the listeners was enormous and we received thousands of SMSes each day across cities. It feels great to see that the young generation of India is so enthusiastic when it comes to their contribution towards India....

The idea was to bring together the kids across the nation to showcase their nationalism and salute the spirit of being Indian.
