World Earth Day Special on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM

MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Madurai's hottest radio station along with its listeners is celebrating world earth day in a unique way. Radio Mirchi has taken a pledge to contribute the earth by planting 983 saplings across Madurai in the next one week.

As its first-step Radio Mirchi had the district forest officer Mr. Rakesh Kumar in its studio. He later distributed saplings to Radio Mirchi listeners and children from Top Kids Summer Camp.

During the next one week radio Mirchi will visit various places that include households, colleges, and malls to distribute saplings. Not only that Radio Mirchi will also share with people the importance of planting saplings and the various do's and don'ts to save the earth  

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Station Head, Radio Mirchi Madurai said It is the need of the hour to safeguard the earth. Raising temperatures and lack of proper rain substantiates this point. Small drops make a mighty ocean, thus as the city's responsible radio station we are trying our best to contribute to this cause. I also sincerely hope that our listeners will help us in achieving this and also contribute immensely to our earth....
