'Uninor Box ka Boss' finalists to receive exclusive coaching by Pravin Amre

MUMBAI: Season 2 of Uninor’s much-awaited box cricket tournament, ‘Uninor Box ka Boss’ – a two-week long premium box cricket challenge – will feature exclusive net sessions with Pravin Amre, the only Indian cricketer to score a half century on his ODI debut and also a century on his test debut. Currently the coach of the Mumbai Cricket Team, Amre will train some of Mumbai’s promising cricket enthusiasts during a practice session organized by Uninor for youngsters participating in its box cricket tournament currently being held in the city.

The challenge runs from 26th May up to 7th June 2012 and registrations will be open until 31st May. Over 130 participating teams will stand the chance to win cash prizes worth Rs. 3 lakhs.  The tournament will begin with preliminary matches to be held at key locations across Mumbai. These centers include Borivali , Chembur, Thane, Andheri and Lower Parel.

At the grand finale, cricket queen, Mandira Bedi will cheer the finalists and present the award to the winning team. The challenge will be covered on air by Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, official radio partner for Uninor Box ka Boss, with a special live interview for the winning team.
