MUMBAI: It was truly like a festival, Government Buses that came in full emptied itself in front of periyaar maniyammai complex, two wheelers thronged with one another, cars were searching for parking place and it was human beings every where!!!

All for one reason- Trichy's No: 1 FM Suryan 93.5fm' s Vannam Kaivannam... A mega Drawing competition was happening there.

The event was designed in such a creative way so as to include every school going student and had all the arrangements to accommodate 10000 people at one place and at one time.

The inaugural function too was blended with creativity. Unlike other functions here lamp was not lighted up but guests painted the flames (one should have been in the venue itself to see the people's faces glowing while the flames got painted).

The on the spot topics given for competition were noteworthy; it was simple at the same time perfectly suited for the age group. District collector Soundaih, Chief Guest, praised it like anything. Here are the topics…

Mangal and Mangal was the main sponsor for the event and on the stage itself client said he was astonished with the turn out ( It took nearly half an hour for him to enter the premises because of the traffic jam). More than that many other clients who visited the venue, without the organizers knowledge, as parents of their children enquired how we managed to bring in such a huge crowd.

We didn't answer but everyone knows it – It was team work!
