MUMBAI: Times Music launched the romantic album 'Suno Zara' by Devaki Pandit by none other singing legend Asha Bhosle.
The event was also graced by a host of other elite guests like Gautam Rajadhyaksha, Roop Kumar Rathod, Suresh Wadkar, Jatin (of Jatin-Lalit fame), Nitin Shankar (Music Director), Israr Ansari (Lyricist)
Suno Zara, a beautiful album comprising 8 compositions, each having a distinct flavour, ranging from romantic to peppy, folk based, sufi and so on.
Celebrated artist Devaki Pandit renders these compositions with aplomb, and dextrously modulates her voice, keeping in mind the style and flavour of each song. Ace singer Roop Kumar Rathod has partnered Devaki in two compositions that encompass both light and classical music in the best possible manner.
The distinct and varied music has been composed by Shri Nitin Shankar of ‘Devdas’ fame and the lyrics are by Israr Ansari. The lyrics are profound at some places, and simple at some.
