The Music Collective, an AECG company appoints Alec Puro Vice President/Creative Director/Composer

MUMBAI: The Music Collective is proud to appoint multi-talented artist and composer Alec Puro to the post of Vice President/Creative Director/Composer, it was announced today by AECG President & CEO Alan Ett  An AECG company, The Music Collective is a premiere full service music production company.

The Music Collective is henceforth the official name of the pre-eminent music industry company (formerly known as Alan Ett Music Group) that offers the production community a full range of creative music production services  With offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo, The Music Collective provides composition, music supervision, music editing, music mastering as well as clearance and licensing services to a broad client base covering broadcast television, cable television, film, video, DVD, as well as all new and emerging media.

As we continue to build upon the Alan Ett Music Group legacy and launch The Music Collective, we are very pleased to welcome Alec to the family, says Ett  He is that rare breed of musical talent who is an excellent composer able to communicate effectively with clients to bring their vision to reality and he is truly an all around good guy  Alec is an extraordinary addition to AECG and we are very pleased to have him here....

One of the highly lauded new voices within the composing world, Alec Puro has received stellar reviews from Variety and accolades from Steven Spielberg for his score of the 2007 Sundance hit film The Good Night, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Penelope Cruz. Puro has also composed the music for numerous independent films, documentaries and popular television programs including Chicago Hope (CBS) and JONAS (ABC Disney). His talent has brought him to the attention of industry icons, resulting in opportunities to work with such esteemed producers as Michael Mann, Steven Bochco and Simon Fuller, among others.

While studying music composition and jazz drums at California Institute of the Arts, Alec created Deadsy with co-founder Elijah Blue, landing an exclusive record deal with Dreamworks Records. Their freshman album Commencement, debuted on The Billboard Top 200 at #99, selling fifteen thousand copies in its first week. Deadsy went on several world tours, opening for LinkinPark, Korn and Stone Temple Pilots, and performed to sold out crowds at such major arenas as Madison Square Garden.
