MUMBAI: The KARAOKE Channel, a property of Stingray Digital, is thrilled to announce that it has finalized an agreement with Walt Disney Records to distribute Disney songs through its multiple services and products including video on demand, online streaming, download services and mobile applications.

The addition of Disney songs allows customers of The KARAOKE Channel services to enjoy even more hours of high quality entertainment with karaoke songs from hit Disney Channel shows and movies such as "High School Musical" and "Hannah Montana," plus classic films including "Aladdin," "The Little Mermaid," "The Lion King," "Mary Poppins," and Disney·Pixar "Cars." More than 150 karaoke songs will be added to the library, including such popular favorites as "Hoedown Throwdown" (Miley Cyrus/"Hannah Montana The Movie"), "Bop to the Top" ("High School Musical"), "Dance Me If You Can" ("The Cheetah Girls: One World"), "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" ("Mary Poppins"), "Hakuna Matata" ( "The Lion King"), "Under the Sea" ("The Little Mermaid") and many more.

The Disney songs will also be added in the coming weeks to the mobile services provided by The KARAOKE Channel including The KARAOKE Channel Mobile app (iPhone/iPod touch) also available soon for Android phones.

The KARAOKE Channel is known for its high quality re-recordings of the songs in its library, yet these Disney songs feature instrumental tracks from Walt Disney Records. Songs from the Artist Karaoke Series, including Queen and Jesse McCartney, feature the original instrumental music beds. Lead vocal guide tracks will also be available to help sing along and of course, the onscreen scrolling lyrics in true karaoke style will guide singers through their performances.
