Table Tennis Star Subhajit Saha Live at Radio Misty

MUMBAI: Table Tennis Star Subhajit Saha was Live at Radio Misty 94.3 fm, the first and Number One Fm station of North Bengal. In a historic first, India's men's doubles team won the Commonwealth Games gold, beating Singapore in a hotly contested five-game final. The team of Subhajit Saha and Achanta Sharath Kamal won the Gold.

Subhajit who is from Siliguri loves to be found on a football field, admires the blue jersey of Chelsea and swears by the red-and-gold hue of East Bengal Football Club. Yet, the 28-year-old Saha keeps his passion for table tennis burning. He displayed a touch of class during an epic battle with Singapore in the doubles finals in Commonwealth game.

The shy 28-year-old is quite down-to-earth too. He is reluctant to speak, unless it is about football, films and his hometown Siliguri. Saha's smile broadened. "Siliguri has produced lot of good players for the country. His achievement should now bring a new dawn in his home town in North Bengal.Subhajit was live at show with RJ Nupur where listeners' interacted with him. He talked about his life, game and hobbies.
