Slacker Radio Launches Official Austin City Limits Music Festival 2011 Station

MUMBAI:  Slacker, Inc. today launched Austin City Limits 2011, the official personal radio station of the Austin City Limits Music Festival featuring the bands and artists in the 2011 lineup. This station is now available for free in the Slacker Festivals/Events section within Slacker Radio online, on leading smartphones and the iPad.

Slacker's Festivals/Events section is a special category that can be found on any Slacker Radio application and includes festival stations unique to Slacker Radio, featuring exclusive interview content. The Austin City Limits Music Festival, named after the PBS concert series, runs September 16 - 18, 2011 in Austin, Texas' Zilker Park with a lineup of 130 artists playing on eight stages. Slacker's Austin City Limits 2011 station plays music from the festival's wide range of bands and artists, including Stevie Wonder, Coldplay, Kanye West, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Santigold and Sara Bareilles.

The Austin City Limits 2011 station will be available for listening before, during and after the festival, and it can be fully customized to the listener's personal music tastes. Slacker Radio will also be updating this station live from the ACL Festival with exclusive artist interviews conducted by Slacker DJs.
