MUMBAI: After Zor ka Jhatka ( Action Replay) and bagging her first award for Sajda ( My Name is Khan) popular singer Richa Sharma has devoted her precious time in building her late father Pandit Daya Shankar Upadhyaya's dream. She has built a mandir Sai Dham in her hometown Faridabad. Richa left no stone unturned to fulfill her father's 30 year old dream. With holy chants in full swing Bhajan maestro Anup Jalota and legends like Hans Raj Hans, Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab and Jassy it was a celebration of one full week.

Richa has dedicated the temple to her parents. She says, "I am very excited and glad that today I have been able to accomplish the goal of my late father. Being a priest himself he wanted to build the temple but he could not do so. I always had this on my mind but I wanted to make sure that everything was just right and perfect. My entire family and the whole of Faridabad came forward to make this dream a reality. My neighbors have shared the duty to serve Sai Baba each day. It was an emotional and nostalgic moment when the audio visual of my parents with entire family was played during the launch."

The Full Volume singer has also launched a Sai ki Tasveer album in association with Sa RE Ga Ma. The album has in all eight Bhajans all sung by the lady herself. Richa who is a Sai Baba believer feels this is homage to the Saint and a tribute to her parents. Being a singer she said, I love to breathe music and experiment my voice with all kind of genres but devotional songs are my life. They touch my soul and I would like to sing them till my last breathe....
