MUMBAI: Well Known singer Shaan performed live on the occasion of ‘Eye Care Day’ in the capital on Sunday at Sirifort Auditorium. The day is celebrated and organized by NGO Mahavir International every year.

Through this day the NGO encourages people to donate their eyes before they die. The day is celebrated to bring in more people who are willing to donate their eyes.

Mahavir International has five eye care hospital in Delhi running for the purpose of charity. The hospitals have all the latest and technologies for eye treatment.

This Year Shaan along with Indian Idol finalist Torsha joined in the cause and got associated with the NGO to attract more people towards this cause. They performed live in Delhi for his fans. Shaan started the evening with his all time famous songs loved by the audience.

He asked everyone to donate their eyes “I think all of us should be associated be something like this, I am lucky that I got a chance. Mahavir International is doing a great job every year, encouraging people for this social cause is really required. I would request everyone who turned up for this event and who saw us through media to donate their eyes. I am glad I am able to contribute something towards this noble cause”.

It helps catching more eye balls towards the cause. When a public figure like Shaan joins eye donation and urges others to do the same people get more attentive towards it”.
