MUMBAI: Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October every year as the birth day of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of Nation or Bapu as he was lovingly called in India. As we all know Mahatma Gandhi was (and is still) known for his non-violence and charisma and played a big role in achieving independence. RED FM also did a small effort in its own style and paid its tribute to a great personality who has taught such wonderful principles which if followed can make your life really meaningful.

RED FM Jaipur celebrated Gandhi Jayanti by hosting a daylong activity to promote Gandhigiri and what better way could be than to talk about the symbolic gandhi ji ke teen bandar spreading the mesaage- bura mat bolo, bura mat suno aur bura mat dekho....

RJ Kabeer, RJ Anuradha, RJ Bharat and RJ Purab asked the callers during the entire day as what are those things which we say, listen or hear and that too when at times we don't want to do that. Like, in the morning show, the callers were asked as what are the things which they should not see but they are bound to see and the callers gave some really interesting answers. The fabric for the show was bura mat dekho....

In the afternoon, callers shared as what are those things which they should not speak but they still do sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly. The fabric was bura mat bolo.... Some mind blowing answers were received like, dusro ka cylinder hadapne ke liye gas agency wale ko bolte hain jo nahi bolna chahiye, kabhi kabhi teachers ke pet name rakh dete hain aur phir wahi bolte hain jo nahi bolna chahiye, boss ki burai nahi karni chahiye etc etc.

In the evening the fabric for the show was bura mat suno.... RJ asked the callers through SMS and calls that kaunsi aisi cheezein hain jo hum sunna nahi chahte par phir bhi sunne ke liye majboor hain. Very funny answers came in like Horns ki pee pee, padosiyon ki chillam chilli, picture mein use hone wale vulgar shabd, ladkiyon ki na na, raat ko kutte ke bhaukne ki awaaz… aisa rote hain jaise kisi ne unki girlfriend chura lee ho….neta type boss ki sunte hain…kaam ka na kaaj ka magar boss hain toh suno….sunnane wale relatives, chugli karne wale relatives etc.

Then apart, caller interaction was amazing when we asked them that if there would be fourth Bandar of Gandhiji then where would his hand be? Listeners surprised with their answers. Like, on his nose as swine flu is spreading, on his forehead as he is sick of the corruption and politics happening all over, on someone else's eyes as he does not want others to see as what he is seeing etc.

In a way, RED FM tried giving a message that if we can do this for just one day, we will be paying a true tribute, to the man whom we call �Father of the Nation'.
