Red FM initiates campaign 'Mama Ko Pani Pilao'

MUMBAI: Yet another initiative by Red FM. This time the radio station has come up with the novel concept of Mama Ko Pani Pilao. The heat in Mumbai becomes unbearable in summers, and who bears the direct blaze of it? It is the traffic police who stand for 8 hours a day under the scorching heat to control the traffic on the roads. Red FM has always been a station that is known for keeping its responsibilities towards social issues in the city.

RJ Malishka in her show Morning no. 1 will ask her listeners to serve water to traffic police, to cope up with high temperature. The show Morning no. 1 is the show which reminds one that Mumbai is your city and need to do some good deeds for it. It is the spirit of the city which can make or break a revolution and RJ Malishka is going to leave no stone unturned to encourage the enthusiastic mumbaikars to volunteer for humanitarian cause .  RJ Malishka has been even more actively involved in pushing her radio station's tag line 'bajaate raho' - visiting different areas in the city, listening to citizens' woes, lending a sympathetic ear and reflecting the angst of the people.

Supporting the initiative famous actress Prachi Desai also joined hands with the Red FM team and distributed across the city, in the Red FM car. The traffic police was delighted to see Prachi and their favorite Radio personality in the middle of hot afternoon.

Commenting on the campaign 93.5 Red FM COO Nisha Narayanan said, “Our teams always strive for the highest level of creativity, this activity is not only been creatively thought and executed, but it also has a strong connect with the issue Mumbai is facing – the rising temperature. While most of the Mumbaikars have an option of going to their air-conditioned homes or office, but the traffic policemen have to do their duty on high traffic streets in the scorching heat. Red FM has come up with  this initiative where we address the issue to  a certain extent by giving traffic policemen cold water to drink. The campaign has been led by Malishka and supported by many Bollywood celebrities. The initiative has been executed in a fun way while retaining the core idea and re-inforcing the fact that as a brand we like doing things differently, reflecting our Bajaate Raho attitude."
