Raghu Dixit LIVE on Bengalurina Radio City 91.1 FM's 'Tharegalajhatre'

MUMBAI: Bengaluru has been star struck! Bengalurina Radio City 91.1FM's �Tharegalajhatre' (Festival of Stars) - a star studded extravaganza brings Bangaloreans access to their favourite icons from Kannada cinema. Day 1 of �Tharegalajhatre' (yesterday, Dec 8) saw leading celebrities from Kannada Cinema like Puneeth Rajkumar, Tara, Master Manjunath, Chaitra, Bhavana, Ravi Srivatsa, Nandita step into studios and co-host all shows non-stop right from 6 AM.

Singing sensation and â€?Namma Bengaluru huduga' Raghu Dixit joined RJs Pradeep and Varsha LIVE on â€?Whatte Fun Mornings' (6 – 10 AM) today  As part of â€?Tharegalajhatre', Raghu Dixit interacted with RJ Pradeep, Varsha, renowned astrologer S.K. Jain and listeners. Here's a quick look of the proceedings on-air;

Raghu's fans from all over Bangalore called Radio City to speak to him and requested him to sing the popular �Ninna Poojege Badhe' which has been making waves. He performed this number with great gusto and dedicated the same to all listeners.

Among some of the other songs Raghu performed are �Pujege bande maadeswara' from the movie �Psycho' and �Mysore se aayi' from his album. On many instances, the listeners hummed the song along with him on-air.

He spoke at length about his new projects at hand and also commented about his signature style of dressing which has become a Raghu Dixit fashion statement.

Raghu spoke to listeners about the person who instigated him to wield the guitar and get into singing. Prior to this, he used to be a bharathnatyam dancer.

He also spoke about how he got his break into this profession via an assignment for Radio City after which there has been no turning back.

He chatted about his friendship with Music Directors Vishal – Shekar and how Raghu's self-titled debut album was released through the duo's own recording label.
