Radio One celebrates Halloween with the Raaz Stars

MUMBAI: Listeners of Radio One 94.3 FM, for the Fataafat Generation, today had the opportunity to party with the stars of the much-awaited film Raaz 2. Emraan Hashmi, Adhyayan Suman and Director Mohit Suri joined fans and contest winners at Radio One's Halloween Bash at the uber-hip Hard Rock Caf?©, donning costume horns... to join the festival.

Halloween is international holiday traditionally celebrated on the evening of October 31. Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, ghost tours, bonfires, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions, carving jack-o'-lanterns, reading scary stories, and watching horror movies. Immensely popular in the US, Halloween is celebrated in several countries including Canada, Ireland, Puerto Rico, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom, and parts of New Zealand. It is slowly gaining popularity in India as well.

Raaz 2 stars the Bhatt camp's blue eyed boy Emraan Hashmi with Kangana Renaut and Adhyayan Suman. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film draws inspiration for its title from Vishesh Films other very successful horror film – Raaz. The similarity ends there though, with a new cast, plot and team in place.

Says Mohit Suri, Halloween as a festival is gaining popularity with young people who want to have some fun together, using the horror theme, getting spooked yourself or spooking friends. We're happy to be here with Radio One listeners to celebrate this....

Emraan and I have grown up together sharing a love of the horror genre in films. While growing up, we played many so-called scary games for fun around Ouija boards, s?©ances etc., often told ghost stories, and watched horror films. It's great fun getting spooked! That's what we hope the Raaz experience will be for viewers also – a lot of fun and thrills,... he adds.

Radio One as the station for the Fataafat Generation offers listeners a chance have Fun Fataafat using whatever the current theme is. Halloween is about being instantly entertained by a horror theme as is Raaz 2....

Radio One has 6 stations operating in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Ahmedabad and will soon launch in Kolkotta.
