MUMBAI: An array of champions, which includes former and present champions, will be seen in action when the 9th East zone and Inter zone national carrom National carrom championship gets underway at Indoor stadium at Siliguri from 5th July. Radio Misty 94.3 FM, the First and Number one fm station of North Bengal has partnered with this event.

Leading the impressive list is Arjuna awardee, A Maria Irudayam, Two times world champion RM Sankara. M Natraj, D Kubendra Babu and Sandip Deorukhkar.

This seven days event will have teams from West Bengal, Bihar, Orrisa, Jharkhand, Uttarpradesh and Chattisgarh. Five Zonal Teams from all over India and one institution Team will participate In Inter Zonal carrom Championship.
