Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM to showcase 'Dilli Ki Jhanki' this Republic Day

MUMBAI: Did you know this - The authorities have forgotten to fill in the paper work for the actual 'Delhi jhanki' at the parade. So this time at the annual republic day parade there will be no float from Delhi.

So what if you don't get to see it… We will make you hear it on air!!!

To pump in the excitement to the spirit of Republic Day in its unique style, Radio Mirchi 98.3FM, India's hottest Radio station has announced its special programming initiative – 'Dilli ki Jhanki'. Especially crafted to make its listeners happy, Radio Mirchi will host an on-air parade illustrating the Jhanki's that will showcase the floats with typical Dilliwallahs on it.

Scheduled from January 24 -27, 'Dilli Ki Jhanki' will be a three day long on-air campaign that will comprise of tongue in cheek humor capsules that provide us with a take on what the 'aaam aadmi of Delhi' encounters on a daily basis- be it road rage, eve teasers, kitty parties, blue lines buses, cars with blaring music etc. all through the day.

Expressing his views on the occasion, Srinivasa Shenoy, Cluster Head, Radio Mirchi said, "Moving ahead with the brand promise of making our listeners happy. With our special programming initiative Dilli ki Jhanki, we have made an attempt to cheer up and not to miss the excitement of Delhi Jhanki at the main parade. We are confident that our listeners will enjoy the parade on air which is conceptualised in a true Mirchi style."
