Bangalore: The country's only International music station Radio Indigo 91.9 FM and Hard Rock Caf© Bengaluru are set to bring in exclusive theme nights every Friday. 'Friday's Playback' will feature the best music of a selected artist played back to back. Interspersed with trivia, contests and fun games, 'Friday's Playback' will be the perfect blending point of music and entertainment. Radio Indigo & Hard Rock Caf© have allied together to bring in these refreshing nights for an entire year. The first of the 'Friday's Playback' series is starting this Friday, 1st Aug with an exclusive Rolling Stones tribute. Exclusive videos and live footage of the band's performance will be played. Radio Indigo RJs will host the night throwing in some contest questions and exclusive merchandise and goodie bags. On the initiative, Jayyant Bhokare - COO, Radio Indigo said, "Friday's Playback will be the perfect dais for Indigo to connect and reconnect with the audience. For a city that has great International music indulgence, Friday's Playback will bring in much excitement to begin the weekend with" Radio Indigo has previously brought in Indigo Thursdaze, a series of theme nights every Thursday bringing in the best of all genres of music. With Indigo Thursdaze, Bangalore saw some exclusive Hip-hop, Rock, Jazz, Retro nights and refreshing themes like Rap Battle, Red Carpet and Percussion Nights amongst others. While every Friday will feature a chosen artiste, one friday every month will be a tribute night featuring a monster artiste/ band.
