Radio City 91.1FM's 'Whatte Fun' Children's Day celebrations

MUMBAI: Radio City,the nation's 'Whatte Fun' FM station is all set to celebrate Children's Day across the nation on November 14, 2008. Making Children's Day 'Whatte Fun' this year, the FM station is celebrating this occasion by bringing together everyone - the young, the young at heart, the blessed as well as the lesser privileged in society.

A variety of activities are set of roll across Radio City 91.1FM stations in New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Surat, Vadodara, Lucknow, Jaipur, Nagpur, Ahmednagar, Vizag and Coimbatore. Making for an out-an-out Whatte Fun listening experience, Radio City 91.1FM will be abuzz with even more fun with special promos and contests, special child-guests co-hosting shows with RJs, RJs along with celebrities reminiscing about their childhood, fun goodies and souvenirs from Radio City all coupled with some melodious music.

 
Radio City is also concluding its 3-week 'City Smile Initiative' for lesser privileged children in 8 cities on November 14. This initiative is called 'Radio City Zindagi Mubarak – A City Smile Initiative' in Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Jaipur and Ahmednagar, 'Oka Chinna Asha - A City Smile Initiative' – Hyderabad and 'Radio City Bala Chandrulu - A City Smile Initiative' in Vizag.

The FM station is presenting all proceedings collected from listeners at a formal presentation ceremony attended by listeners, city dignitaries and civic authorities to NGOs - Akanksha Foundation (Pune), Visamo Kids Foundation (Ahmedabad), NICE (Hyderabad), Mahajan Bal Anathashram (Surat), Don Bosco Snehalaya (Vadodara), Vatsalaya Foundation (Jaipur), Anadhasaranalayam Blind School (Vizag) and Snehalaya (Ahmednagar) 
 
Delhi's Radio City 91.1FM is welcoming 'Mini Mehmans' in studio who will co-host shows along with RJs all day long on November 14. The FM station is also joining hands with the National Rail Museum where the RJs will go on-ground and interact with listeners and children, conduct 'Whatte Fun' games with Radio City goodies to giveaway.
 
Lucknow's Radio City 91.1FM will conclude the Junior RJ Hunt in association with McDonalds to spot eight lucky children who will co-host all shows on November 14 along with the city's favourite RJs. Bengalurina's Radio City 91.1FM will also feature Junior RJs who will take on the station and entertain Bangalore's Radio Cityzens with their enthusiasm and vivacity.
 

Nagpur's Radio City 91.1FM will feature 'Radio City ke Nanhe RJ' who will co-host all shows along with their favourite RJs. On November 15, 2008, Nagpur's 'Whatte Fun' FM station with 'Abhi toh mein baccha hoon' has a treat in store for all young at heart! Over 100 lucky listeners who are 20 years old and above, can win a fun day at Highland Park, Amravati Road with free access to the water park and all rides courtesy Nagpur's Radio City 91.1FM.
 
Coimbatore's Radio City 91.1FM is celebrating Children's Day with 'Radio City Super Chutti' (The naughtiest child), where children and parents will be invited to the studios for this fun-filled family game. The winning child will bag the title of Super Chutti' (The naughtiest child), gets the opportunity to go on-air and win loads of gifts courtesy Radio City 91.1FM!

Games
