Prospect Park Hires Industry Veteran Ron Cerrito as Senior Executive in Music Division

MUMBAI: Former Alarm Music Group founder and Warner Bros. Head of Promotion, Ron Cerrito has joined media and production company Prospect Park as a senior executive in the company's music division. Prospect Park will tap Cerrito's decades long experience in management, marketing, and launching artists within the company's Music Management and Records division.

Prospect Park's Jeff Kwatinetz and Rich Frank, who made the announcement today, said, "Ron has successfully launched some of the most well-known albums in pop culture history over the past 20 years. Our artists and platform will benefit from Ron's fresh ideas along with his great marketing mind and creativity."

"I'm excited to join the executives and artists at Prospect Park. In an industry where status quo cannot survive I believe that this company is poised to lead the charge into the next phase of the music business," said Cerrito.

Prior to starting Alarm Music Group, a music company focused on building and managing music careers for 7Lions, Prophet, LaLa Romero, and Six Reasons, Cerrito was the Senior Vice President of Promotion at Warner Bros. While at Warner Bros. he worked with musical talent such as Madonna, Jason Derulo, Linkin Park, Metallica, Muse, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Keys, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Cerrito had previously gained experience at record companies including Columbia Records, Interscope Records, and Epic Records, where he was a key member of the teams responsible for launching successful album releases for System of a Down, Offspring, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Marilyn Manson, Rage Against the Machine, and Pearl Jam, among others. He started his career as the chart editor at Billboard Magazine.
