Pritam and Jaideep Sahni at Radio Mirchi Studio

MUMBAI: Known as the industry's very own resident Punjabi music director, Pritam Chakraborty and renowned lyricist and writer Jaideep Sahni visited India's Hottest Radio station Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM and mesmerised the listeners of the evening drive time show â€? Sunset Samosa' with RJ Suren, with a live performance.

Besides playing for the listeners, Pritam and Jaideep spoke about the chart busting songs from their upcoming film Dil Bole Hadippa' and their experiences related to churning out hard core Punjabi numbers to keep with the whole larger than life, vibrant feel of the movie.

We had a complete blast while making the songs for the film, all the songs had to have a celebratory film since the film is based on India, a country known to have many festivals.

The Baisakhi song Discowale khisko' was especially a challenge as it had to steer away from the typical Baisakhi numbers and yet be apt for the occasion. Nevertheless it was a great experience playing with Punjabi words and coming up with offbeat fun filled tracks....

Pritam is a renowned musician and has given several hits in the past and has recently been associated with big films like Singh is King' and Love Aaj kal'. Jaideep Sahni has scored the lyrics of many popular numbers like Show me your Jalwa', Chak De India' and Say Na Say Na' from Bluffmaster.

Pritam and Jaideep will also be heard on Radio Mirchi's weekend show, Sunday Music company' with RJ Neha, which will be aired on Sunday, 20th September.
