Nine FM partners the inauguration of a Blind School

MUMBAI: Jack Johnson sang If I had eyes in the back of my head, I would've told you that you look good as I walk away…... but Braille put eyes to the fingers of the visually challenged and it is through these �eyes on the fingers' that they try to perceive the world around them. NINE FM recently became an active medium in making the world �look good' for the visually challenged by promoting the inauguration of the BHIMBER BLIND SCHOOL at Bidhan Nagar, Siliguri on 2nd May.

Bhimber Blind School is a non-profit and voluntary institution dedicated to educating rehabilitating visually impaired children.

Since its inception , apart from entertaining its listeners with latest music , latest updates on sports , Bollywood, Hollywood and local happenings , NINE FM has also been involved in Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) programmes in areas like education , health , skill development, etc.

The institution was inaugurated by Honourable Urban Development Minister, Sri Ashok Bhattacharya, Chairman, Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sri Pascal Minj & MLA, Chhoten Kishku.

NINE FM as the official radio partner promoted the noble cause on-air. Live interview of the Chairman of Bhimber Blind School was also aired on NINE FM.
