Nine FM celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi

MUMBAI: NINE FM, the contemporary FM station of North Bengal & Sikkim is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with pomp and show on air and on ground.

NINE FM in association with Siliguri Ganesh Puja Committee is organizing 10-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi festival with various ground activities. NINE FM had organized a similar festival last year which had got a really good reception from the people.

The inaugural ceremony was held at Bidhan Market (Old Dooars Bus Stand), Bidhan Road, on August 22. Honorable Sri K.L Tamta IPS, (IGP of North Bengal graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

Aware of its social obligations, NINE FM in association with Siliguri Ganesh Puja Committee has also organized Free Blood Donation Campaign on August 26, Free Dental Check-up Campaign on August 27, Free Eye Check-up Campaign on August 28 and Wheel Chair Distribution on August 29. NINE FM as the official radio partner will cover the entire event on air and on ground.

The 10-day-long festival is sure to brighten up the city and lift the spirits of denizens. The streets are buzzing with activity as preparations are on in full swing to usher in Ganesha.
