New Yash Raj Album Features Rare Gem Never Heard Before

MUMBAI: Unbelievable but true: there is a Lata Mangeshkar gem, sung along with Kumar Sanu, that music lovers have never heard before. Well, now they can, in the soon to be released album from YRF Music called Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho.

Titled Chanda Ki Chandni, written by the legendary Anand Bakshi and composed by Uttam Singh, it showcases India's nightingale at her very best, accompanied by the mellifluous voice of Kumar Sanu. The song is housed alongside a collection of 13 of the most romantic and soulful love songs from recent films. These include Khuda Jaane and Aahista Aahista from Bachna Ae Haseeno..., Falak Tak Chal from Tashan..., Bol Na Halke Halke from Jhoom Barabar Jhoom..., Chup Chup Ke from Bunty Aur Babli..., Tu Jahaan from Salaam Namaste..., Mere Haath Mein and Dekho Na from Fanaa... and more.

The other highlight of the album is the song Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Jagjit Singh. This is one of the rare duets by the two legends who last sung together in their album Sajda. This soulful song was featured in the Veer-Zaara CD as a bonus track. It has now been re-orchestrated and is certain to strike a chord with the romantic in you. Javed Akhtar has written the lyrics to a composition by the late Madan Mohan.

Whether you love great music or are an eternal romantic Tum Paas Aa Rahe Ho will soothe your soul. Don't miss this unique album, releasing on the 24th of October, 2008.
