MyStream Makes Music Sharing Social, Launches Music Streaming App for iPhone

MUMBAI: MyStream announces the MyStream music streaming application, available now on iTunes as a limited time offer for free! Taking the music industry by storm, the MyStream application is designed to enhance the experience of sharing new music with others. Share your music and not your headphones by wirelessly streaming music and audiobooks to friends' iPhones within range via either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. MyStream can be used anywhere and at anytime regardless of internet or cellular reception.

"The application is perfect for the musician or music lover," said Richard Zelson, Founder of MyStream. "Imagine immediately being able to listen to a song stored on a friend's iPhone at the same time as them without needing to share their headphones or be tethered to them using a splitter. In addition, MyStream can support numerous listeners from any one streamer making it essentially an omni-directional wire free headphone splitter. MyStream makes sharing music and collecting good music easy, and best of all it helps amazing artists gain additional exposure while promoting the instant purchasing of their music."

All streaming audio is streamed via the iPhone's WiFi or Bluetooth wireless technology, so whether you are on a bus, subway, plane or any other setting MySteam lets you instantly share the music you love. All streaming audio is based on songs and audio books stored on a user's iPhone. In addition to easily sharing music, the MyStream application allows users to purchase shared music and audiobooks through the iTunes store. The MyStream custom player allows users to share active playing songs in real-time, arrange and share custom MyStream playlists, create and share profiles, set permissions and more. The music industry is welcoming the application to increase listening and purchasing of all artists' music.

"The MyStream application is one of the best music applications on iTunes because not only can I share music with friends on the run but they can also purchase the music on the spot," said Ellen Jacobs of the Knitting Factory. "In addition, it easily makes music viral as fans can purchase it and easily share it with their friends."
