Music-Master.com launches feature for purchase without credit card

MUMBAI: Feature enables people without credit card or debit cards to purchase music online Music Master, a Middle East-based music distribution business, today announced the launch of the wallet feature on their download site, www.music-master.com.

The music download site was launched in March 2011 with over three million tracks from all four major music labels: Universal, EMI, Sony and Warner.

Music Master has now added the wallet feature to the website enabling the consumers to charge their account with a lump sum of money removing the need to pay each time with a credit card, it said in a statement.

This feature will also be a fantastic way to let children use the site with their parents charging an account for them or setting up an account for a birthday present.

Along with the wallet feature Music Master will also be producing scratch cards in the coming months that will be available in various retail outlets across the emirates. Once again this will enable people without credit or debit cards to purchase music online, legally.

Music Master expects the scratch card feature to be available by the summer months. Music Master was established in 1982 in Jeddah, KSA by Ghassan Elajou. Its success sprung from its first partnership with Warner Music as a distributor, which eventually became a license deal. Between 1989 and 2001, Music Master played a key role in Arabic music production and helped launch the careers of iconic artists such as Elyssa and Magida El-Roumi, the company said.

Today, the music distributor has over 100 employees across 8 fully operational warehouse offices including UAE (Head office), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Lebanon. Besides the license deals with four major labels, Music Master also has the exclusive license in the Middle East for Universal Music.
