Music Forte Changes Industry Standards by Providing Artists with 100% of their Profits

MUMBAI: The Independent Music world may be in for a special treat. While Music Forte is no newcomer in the arena, the company has pushed forward with a unanimous agreement to provide artists with 100% of their sales. What was once a contributor to net gain, has been turned into an expenditure in order to support this uncommon model where the the independent music artists no longer have to split their own music sales. This abandons the industry standard, in which various splits, or registration/subscription fees are imposed.

While the focus at Music Forte has always been geared towards artist promotions, the company is also a major retailer of sheet music , DVD, lesson books, and audio software/hardware. Major enhancements to the sheet music division will be completed in the near future. This supplemental source of income takes place of an ad-supported system, which is more familiar to other industry leaders.

Music Forte may be one of the very few indie retailers to allow 100% profits to go to the artists, without imposing some sort of catch or punishing their promotional pages with miscellaneous ads.

Regardless of the great deal Music Forte provides their artists, there still lies some trouble. Artists quite often lead their customers through retailers that take 50% or more, before any profit reaches the artist. Not only does this leave very little income to the artists, it also puts their music back-to-back with major label competition. While some musicians may feel honored to have their music surrounded in the company of major label stars, it is not productive to driving sales in the direction of the independent artist.

With the importance of "name recognition" in mind, Music Forte is exposing their strongest efforts to build one of the greatest online platforms for independent music artists around the world, through a series of promotional campaigns.

Music Forte is forming many new business relationships. Most notable is the connection with ComCorp USA (CCA), which has allowed Music Forte to begin production on a series of TV commercials designed to bring the artists of Music Forte's music charts televised exposure.

Joint ventures with leading manufacturers in sound and audio gear have allowed a variety of upcoming promotions, which are designed to greatly increase recognition and reputation.

With the addition of an experimental radio program that is broadcasting 24/7, Music Forte has covered several bases, providing artists with exposure through television, promotional campaigns and internet radio.

Music Forte will build a strong and prosperous footing in television, which will allow for more rapid development and stronger relationships in the music industry.

What it means for the artists who use Music Forte goes beyond just receiving 100% of their profits. As Music Forte continues to build it's presence through televised media, promotions and opportunities are being released that competitors in this niche industry will be unlikely to keep up with.
