MUMBAI: Mumbai based English Singer, Guitarist & Music Composer Naveen J Anthraper has won the 'I Like It' World Talent Award for his song and music video 'Lonely I'm Crying'.

The song 'Lonely I'm Crying' talks about any 'child' who is lonely. But the word ‘child’ used in the song is a metaphor for any individual – rich or poor, young or old.

Be it a child whose working parents are too busy making money to spend time with him or a child who silently suffers as his unhappy parents go through a separation or a child silently suffering the mental pain & depression of being sexually abused.

The aim of this song is to send a message to people about being aware of the ones left alone and going through loneliness within their families and surroundings. Often we come across people who are lost and lonely, but in a very busy world we hardly have any time to care about another individual or tend to forget to help them bring a glimmer of hope into their lives.

This song is an attempt to be the voice of the voiceless or rather the voice of people who have been muted by our busy and apathetic society.

Naveen began his tryst with music at the age of seven at home under the guidance of his father in Kerala, India. Since then Naveen has never looked back and has often been lauded for his ability to entertain music lovers with different styles of Western music ranging from pop-rock, slow rock, psychedelic, rock, pop and fusion music. Naveen is now shuttling between Mumbai, UAE and Kerala.

Naveen and his team of musicians have performed quality shows both in India & abroad. The lad shot to international fame with his song ‘Lonely I’m Crying’.

The music video for the song aired Internationally on MTV ARABIA and all leading National music TV channels including  VH1, MTV INDIA, Channel V, Z Cafe, Z Trendz, e-masala (Gulf TV channel), most South Indian music channels and various  International Radio.

The song 'Lonely I'm Crying' composed, sung and produced by Naveen and has been recorded and mixed at the famous Bollywood Yash Raj Films studio in Mumbai.

The music video for the song has been filmed at scenic locations in Rohtang pass and Manali. A special music video screening of ‘Lonely I’m Crying’ was organized at The Address Downtown, Burj Dubai.

Naveen is currently the Judge for the 'Rangoli Gulf' season 2, TV show airing on JAIHIND TV channel every Sunday @ 10:30 am. He was also the Judge for the Mumbai festival – ‘Battle of the Bands’ a three day competition held in Mumbai where bands from all over India had participated.

He is known for mesmerizing his audience with his awesome performance – his enchanting singing, his magic with his fast fingers on the guitar and his berserk stage–acting. His uncanny ability to infuse Indian scales on guitar right in the middle of English songs gives his concerts a magical charm.
