Monster Rock Orchestra

MUMBAI: Monster Rock Orchestra (MRO), the signature performance of the 2013 Mississauga Waterfront Festival (MWF), is going to be a unique combination of light and sound that will leave the audience awestruck and enthralled. MRO will be performing on 14 and 15 June 2013 at 9:30 pm at Port Credit Memorial Park.

"It is the only show of its kind in Canada," said Vikas Kohli, producer, MRO. "It is an original production of rock music with an orchestra, combined with a grand spectacle of lasers and lights. This premiere event will be an exclusive performance just for the Mississauga Waterfront Festival."

This year, MRO is featuring a rock band along with a string section and a horn section. This grand performance will be accompanied by a massive laser light show by tech guru Joe Natale, to create an amazing experience for the audience at the Mississauga Waterfront Festival.

"Monster Rock Orchestra, created by Mississauga's own talent, Vikas Kohli, has been entertaining festival visitors of all ages," said Pat Anderson, Chairperson, MWF. "We can proudly say that at Mississauga Waterfront Festival, we feature our local talent of national as well as global fame, making it an unforgettable event for the audience."

This monster of a show will take the audience on a roller-coaster of hit songs: From today's chart-toppers such as Carly Rae Jepsen and Maroon 5 to all-time favourites such as Bon Jovi and Neil Young. This year features new songs with homage to Canadian icons of rock 'n' roll.
