Mithun does an item number on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs

MUMBAI: Flat on the floor after being bowled over by the delightful surprises sprung at him on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs, Sonu Nigam asked for a moment to compose himself before he could resume shooting. From being shown footage of his first film as a child artiste,'Pyaara Dushman' to having his Guru Gulam Mustafa visit him on the sets, Sonu couldn't help but feel overwhelmed when his 3-year-old nephew Jasraj, dressed in a white tuxedo, went up on stage to sing'Kya Hua Tera Waada', the very song with which Sonu had begun his journey as a stage performer. Sonu was in splits when his chaddi buddies Bunty & Kailash paid the sets a visit and regaled the audience with nostalgic tales of their college days. The team at Li'l Champs delivered its final blow when they showed Sonu an AV they'd shot of all the music composers he has worked with. Their glowing words of praise and affection served as a knock-out punch for an already emotional Sonu!.Sonu special episode is on this Friday (28th Dec). Also on the sets of Li'l Champs was the star cast of the forthcoming flick, My Name is Anthony Gonzales – Mithun Da, Amrita Rao and Nikhil Dwivedi. While Amrita sparkled in Zee's hot new hue, Purple, everybody's favourite Disco Dancer made a splash by turning up on a Chartered flight. While the crowd burst out with rip-roaring laughter and cheering on seeing Mithun Da dance like a siren to li'l Vaishali's rendition of'Laila Main Laila', young Vibhor in his true-blue flirtatious andaaz presented Amrita Rao with a rose and shook a leg with her. On Aditya Narain's insistence, Sonu brilliantly mimicked Remo Fernandes with'Humma Humma'. Woah! What a Hungama! Mithun Da and Amrita Rao are special guests on this Saturday (29th Dec).
