Madhushree releases patriotic album 'Vande Mataram - Meri Awaaz Suno'
NEW DELHI: MUMBAI: Singer Madhushree has released a patriotic album �Vande Mataram - Meri Awaaz Suno' during the concert in Delhi. The singer was accompanied by Sukhwinder Singh who sang the title track of the album at the concert.
The album was launched by General VK Singh, chief of Army staff in the presence of veteran actors like Zeenat Aman, Sonu Walia and Shatrughan Sinha. The album has various patriotic tracks composed by Robby Badal and written by Padma Bhushan Dr. Sardar Anjum.
Speaking on the album Madhushree said, I feel it is necessary to invoke love for the country among people. As a singer, I wanted to contribute through my music. It is an awakening for the youth of our nation....
The concert also featured 20 soldiers and 20 children performing on the song �Hum Sitare hain zameen ke' along with Madhushree. The 50% proceeds of the event will be donated to (Army Wives Welfare Association) with an advance cheque of Rs 100,000.
