The phone lines at Radio Mirchi, the official radio partner of the movie 'Chennai Express', did not stop buzzing ever since the launch of the contest to meet SRK. The station received overwhelming response from listeners as entries poured in from all across India. To participate in the contest, listeners had to practise their favorite SRK dialogues from his evergreen movies with a generous dose of Chennai Express to it -  the Tamil accent! Listeners who aced their act and managed to impress the Mirchi RJs, were offered the dream opportunity to meet their favourite superstar Shah Rukh Khan!To add to the excitement, the winners got out their best Chennai-style clothes out of the closet aka white lungi, shirt and sari. Donning the avatar, these winners headed for the once-in-a-lifetime journey to meet the charming megastar.

Among the thrilled winners were Banti and Nisarga from Pune, Shalaka from Nashik, Ankit from Nagpur, Devang and Nilayi of Mumbai. Along with them were Kanchan Agarwal and Dhwani who participated in the contest via Radio Mirchi’s facebook page and twitter respectively.
