Lucknow's Radio City 91.1 observed Civic Week

MUMBAI: Bridging the distance between citizens and administrators with a 'Whatte Fun' zing, Lucknow's Radio City 91.1FM observed 'Civic Week' in Lucknow. Hosted by the much-adored RJ Vera of 'Whatte Fun Mornings', the FM station invited Lucknow's top Government officials to go LIVE 'on-air' and interact with listeners for an entire week! March 24, 08 onwards the station laid out a red carpet for several Civic Supervisors including the likes of Mr. Sanjay Jha - Regional Transport Officer, Mr. K. B. Ram - GM Lucknow Electricity Board, Mr. Chahte Ram - DRM Northern Railway, Sunil Parihar - GM Telephone Dept, Mr. Akhil Kumar - Senior Superintendent of Police and Mr. Chandra Bhanu, District Magistrate. These officials stepped in graciously to address listener queries at Radio City as well as add to the 'Whatte Fun' element of the show.Reiterating the commitment to consistently provide refreshing content, Radio City built in a unique platform for Lucknow listeners to present their opinions and ideas on the civic norms in the city. Lucknow's Radio Cityzens witnessed a 'never-before' portrayed side of these representatives while they indulged in detailed proceedings and listing of the initiatives and activities, propagating the idea of a healthy and pollution free environment for their citizens. Whatte Fun Mornings on Radio City received a wholehearted response for this exceptional and remarkable approach.

However, the mornings were not only limited to serious issues pertaining to the city. Breaking the misconception that senior civic authorities are particularly stern by nature, Radio City's 'Whatte Fun' formula explored the lighter side of these respected bureaucrats. The sessions buzzed with excitement as the representatives broke into humour revealing their lighter side. Adding in her bit to the interesting conversation, RJ Vera managed to unearth a few fun anecdotes from these Senior Officials who sportingly shared their most experiences in good cheer. A few officials actually sang few of their favourite songs, to keep up with the spirit of Radio City!
