MUMBAI: American Idol may be one of the biggest reality shows ever, but rap sensation Lil Wayne has revealed he is yet to tune into the latest season of the singing talent show. Surprisingly, he admitted it was protégée and American Idol judge Nicki Minaj who dissuaded him from tuning into Season 12 of the epic show.

The other judges on the panel of the show include diva Mariah Carey (with whom Minaj recently had a much publicized feud), country star Keith Urban and veteran record producer Randy Jackson. American Idol Season 12 airs every Friday and Saturday at 9pm, only on Big CBS Love, in concurrence with the US.

When asked to comment on Nicki’s stint as a judge on the show, the artist who has produced collaborated with the best and biggest in the business said, “Actually, I've never watched it. When I talk to her she's always tells me, 'You don't wanna watch that, you're not going to be into it,  It's kind of like a catfight where they be going back and forth type of thing, I'm not into all that. The talent on that is pretty good I heard, though.”

With the show already starting off with a bang and Hollywood Week just around the corner, viewers can certainly expect a lot more surprises in store. A passionate panel of judges and some incredibly talented contestants, all we can say is that American Idol Season 12 promises to be a musical joyride.
