From childhood I knew what I wanted in life. My family has been always very supportive  But being a single lady they were little apprehensive, but once I took decision of moving to Bombay from Ahmedabad on my own, my family encouraged me. Initially music was hobby but then became a career. I have always been hard working and fully dedicated to music. So I believe music is enough for  a lifetime but a lifetime is not enough for music....

My multifaceted mother is my inspiration, as she is an ultimate mother to all children, devoted wife, loving daughter in law, have been teaching as a professor for 30 years in university and a social activist – all in one.

On an ending note Lalitya wishes every woman to Stay focus, Follow your heart and dreams. Be positive and U will be there.
