Kishore Kumar's Magical Journey on The Piano by Master Abhay Goyle Enthralls Audiences

MUMBAI: NEW DELHI: Renowned singer Pankaj Udhas has said that an artiste can be really successful only when he is passionate about his art to the point of fanaticism.

He also stressed the need for family support for any artiste to succeed at his art.

He was speaking after releasing the music album �Magical Journey' by 16-year old Master Abhay Goyle who has rendered 23 songs of the versatile Kishore Kumar on the piano.

Others present at the function included Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court A K Sikri, Delhi Lokayukta Justice Manmohan Sarin, Indian Council for Cultural Relations Director General Suresh Goel, Udhas's wife Farida, and Mr Ved Chanana of T Series which has produced the two-CD album. Goyle's teacher Jaideep Lakhtakiya was also present.

Udhas rendered his popular song �Chitthi aayee hai' from the film �Naam' to the accompaniment of piano by Goyle. The proceeds of the event went to Cancer Patients Aid Association.

Goyle, who has dedicated the album to his grandfather (late) Arun K. Goyle who had encouraged him, also enthralled those present by playing about twenty songs of the late Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar and other singers on the piano. These included �Aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hai', �'Main ek badal awara', �Aye maalik tere bande hum', �Pal pal dil ke pass', �Teri binidya re', �Utthe sabkay kadam', �Yaad na jaaye', �Itna na mujhse tu pyaar bardhaa' and several other memorable hits.

Goyle has already won several awards and is in the Limca Book of Records for his �magical fingers', but this was his debut album.

Earlier during Diwali, Goyle had performed in Gurgaon in aid of Quota International which works to uplift under-privileged women and children from the economically weaker sections.
