MUMBAI: The stage is set, the artists are ready and Mumbai is all geared up for the most happening launch of the year. For the first time ever, International artist Kissh will launch his album ‘Lady’ on 4 October at Sky Lounge in Mumbai.

Amidst a lot of voices that touch our hearts, here’s a new discovery to join the ranks of singers that promises to hit the right cords. Kissh, who is known for his pop-fusion style, admits R&B music is his largest inspiration. His latest creation, ‘Lady’ is sure to capture young hearts. It is a wonderful mixture of classical and pop music, very similar in style to his peer Neeraj Shridhar, who already is an established name in the music industry.

Kissh has spent a long time in Johannesburg and has always had a passion for writing and singing. He has been writing and singing since his early years. It is this skill of painting emotions with words that made him stand out among all other artists in the first place.

He is an artiste who seeks inspiration everywhere around. He is all praises for his mentor Neeraj Shridhar. He said, “I have been thinking of having someone who is very skilled in the same craft. One day I was introduced to Neeraj Shridhar and told him about my plan. He was glad to record what I created. Neeraj has been leader in this style when it comes to Bollywood. He is great in bringing vigour to the chorus.” Kissh has been equally crafty in the same music genre. Bringing his music and writing skills together has been an advantage.

He says that Lady has been an inspiration from his own life. He chuckles while sharing his emotions and craft. For artists, emotions have been the most important things in the world and of course that craft and divine madness which enables them to create a world ‘people want to live in forever, but not a world that is false, a world that people strive for and live in everyday of their lives’.

Personal experiences have always served to the artists. His album, Lady has been his dealings with romantic emotions of his own but also able to click with the youth of his generation. He says, “It has been a great musical journey so far and I am sure my new album will be able to reserve a corner in every heart,” he smiles.

The lyrics of Lady have been written jointly by Kissh and Neeraj in the popular language of youngsters, Hinglish. He says, “We as artists have to talk to our audience in a distinct language – the language of love: Love of music, people and life.”

3rd rock entertainment has been involved in many mega projects so far. It has made its mark at an international level, making its vision of events a dream come true. Their addition to the Lady team can only promise to be a mind blowing experience.
