MUMBAI: After the success of music camp last year, Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music's has once again organized an ‘Intensive Performance Camp in Music.’ The five-day camp will commence from 23 March in Tamil Nadu.

The camps will feature music faculty like Prasanna (India), Sebastian Cruz (Columbia), Panagiotis Andreou (Greece), Manu Koch (Switzerland), Nicole Zuraitis (NewYork) and Harvey Wirht (Suriname). The camp will be equipped with recital halls, ensemble rooms, practice rooms, labs, library of books and DVDs, media center and recreation facilities.

The previous five day Camps at SAM showcased 85 musicians from India, UK, Germany, USA and other countries. Previously the camp featured renowned music faculty including 8 time Grammy Award winner Rodney Holmes, MacArthur Fellow Dafnis Prieto, Benny Greb, Atma Anur, Guitarists (Prasanna, David Gilmore, Rubens De La Corte, Jane Getter), Bassists (Mike Pope, Steve Jenkins, Derek Nievergelt, Panagiotis Andreou, vocalists Magos Herrera, Lara Bello) and Pianists (Jason Lindner, Manu Koch, Carmen Staaf and others).

The camp is known to provide platform for top professional musicians, fledgling bands, amateur musicians, intermediate and beginner level musicians to share, learn and produce music together with renowned faculty and facilities. The musician into attend camp include some renowned names like Rahman’s lead guitarist Sanjeev Thomas, Thermal And a Quarter drummer Rajeev Rajagopal, Avial drummer Mithun Puthanveetil and Bhare Naina (Ra.One) singer Nandini Srikar.
