MUMBAI: Hero Stars Limited (HSL) promoter of “Gospel Heroes” is looking for talented Gospel Music singers and group acts to audition in London this September. The Grand Final winner receives a share in £50,000 worth of prizes including a recording contract, concert tour and be awarded "Gospel Heroes Best New Talent" award.
HSL is a promoter of music events and agent of performing music artists specialising in Gospel Music. The aim using “Gospel Heroes” as a showcase is to encourage and draw from the wealth of talent springing up within different communities around churches. This can take many different styles and forms of Gospel Music all of which provides positive messages with a great sound accessible to everyone.
HSL invests in and builds something permanent by discovering, developing and producing artists beyond just their vocal talents and skills, but also in stage presence that illuminates their power and joy giving the budding artist a chance to showcase themselves.
HSL wants to single out the best Gospel Music talent and present it to a very wide audience giving them the privilege of listening and seeing the best amongst the best!
HSL has lined up a star team of judges, compares and vocal coaches for “Gospel Heroes” Talent Search. It includes the hilarious Simply Andy as MC, very experienced vocal coach, judge and performer in her own right CeCelia Wickham Anderson, top class singer and guest judge Mike Soul, DTWG founder and passionate Gospel Music promoter Sam Adebanjo amongst many surprise guest judges and performers that will be appearing during the contest events.
All Semi Finalists will have the chance to record the 2012 Gospel Heroes Christmas album with themed Gospel Music where all net proceeds will go to charity to help under privileged children as a Christmas gift from everyone at the Gospel Heroes Showcase.
The Final will host the UK Gospel Heroes Music Awards 2013 where all the finalists will perform with a glittering array of Gospel Music artists and the winner will be awarded the "Gospel Heroes Best New Talent" award, a share in £50,000 worth of prizes including a recording contract and concert tour.
One of the key objectives of Gospel Heroes is fund raising to help with the UN Millennium Development Goals through charitable donations and direct aid to improve maternal and child health in developing countries. We say "Everyone can be a Gospel Hero" and this is achieved by anyone involved with Gospel Heroes whether participating as audience members, purchasing music, sponsors supporting us, working with us as production and event organisation staff, contestant acts, and music industry artists and executives who give their time and effort.
Registration for open auditions has commenced and singers and group acts are encouraged to register early as places are limited. All auditions are open to the public and they should book early to avoid disappointment of seeing and hearing what promises to be great entertainment and ultimately with everyone's support will help in a good cause.
