Esha Kopikkar joins 92.7 BIG FM's RAMKY BIG Green Ganesha campaign

MUMBAI: RAMKY BIG Green Ganesha Campaign, by 92.7 BIG FM, India's No. 1 radio network, today hosted the very talented Esha Kopikkar in her Shabri look making Ganesha idols along with the well known artist Mrs. Rama Kesariwala who has been making Lord Ganesha idols since last 10 years in all different shapes and sizes without using any mould, the final masterpiece being beautifully colored, washable and unbreakable idols. Her prominent achievements are that she can make Lord Ganesha idols with her eyes closed (blind folded). The RAMKY BIG Green Ganesha Campaign aims at heralding a new phase in environment protection by pleading with the people to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in a eco- friendly way. It is the biggest green Ganesha campaign in the country spanning thirteen cities and is in its 4th year of celebrations.

Esha Kopikkar donning the gangster avatar seemed to be thoroughly enjoying while learning to make a Paper Mache Ganesha under the guidance of an expert idol maker Mrs. Rama Kesariwala who has successfully created 999 idols in 24 hours with the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Ganesh Chathurti is the most celebrated festival across Maharashtra and is celebrated with much enthusiasm. However, great care must be taken to safeguard the environment against any ill effects and it is this endeavor with which 92.7 BIG FM set out with its Ganesha campaign in the green space, now in its 4th year.

Commenting on the official launch of the campaign, Soumen Ghosh Choudhary, Business Head 92.7 BIG FM said, Having pioneered the concept four years ago, we at 92.7 BIG FM are very happy to see the growing success of the Green Ganesha campaign year on year, and we are certain there will be widespread use of paper mache Ganeshas in the coming years. This was done keeping in mind the growing importance of the use of social media and its ability to spread the message far and wide.
